The 6 O’Clock Proof
The Miyota 90S5 presents its open-heart at 5 o’clock from the factory. We re-engineered the case and movement architecture to position it at 6 o’clock — a detail most watchmakers would refuse to attempt for a 100-piece run. The crown offset at 4 o’clock is the physical proof.

Service
The Miyota 90S5 is one of the most widely serviced movements in the world. Any competent watchmaker can service it. We also maintain a small stock of spare parts and offer service coordination for the first 5 years.
Why We Built It ?
We created the Ora Meteor because we couldn’t find it.
We wanted a genuine meteorite dial. We wanted a visible mechanical heart, executed with restraint. We wanted a 38mm unisex case that didn’t feel like a compromise. And we wanted these three elements — meteorite, open heart, compact case — in a single watch at an honest price.
They didn’t exist. So we built it ourselves.
This watch was self-funded from savings built over two years. No investors. No crowdfunding. No safety net. Every dollar that went into the Ora Meteor is a dollar earned, saved, and risked on a single belief: that there are others who want exactly what we wanted.
Why The Ora Meteor ?
This timepiece is built on contrasts. Visually striking, quietly provocative.
Most watches settle for one texture. The Ora Meteor has four distinct layers — each one chosen to balance the others.
The meteorite center is primal and unpredictable. Each slice reveals a unique Widmanstätten pattern formed over millions of years in zero gravity. No two dials are ever the same.
The guilloché chapter ring is disciplined and deliberate — geometric lines engine-turned to catch the light, providing a foil to the organic chaos of the meteorite.
The sandblasted matte black outer ring houses the minute track and absorbs stray light.
The matte black rehaut reduces the visual canyon between crystal and dial, compressing the perimeter so the meteorite and guilloché pop with maximum brilliance. This is the museum vitrine effect.
The open-heart at 6 o’clock is the kinetic star — a warm, gilt pulse suspended in a field of ancient stone. Most brands leave it at 5 o’clock. We moved the entire assembly.
Mid-century syringe hands and applied black Breguet numerals anchor the design. Classical elements framed within a modern stage.
Hand-inspected by the founder before shipping. No faceless corporation. Just honest craftsmanship.
